ACU School of Divinity

School of Divinity

Welcome to ACU School of Divinity!

Back in 2015, many people asked me why I packed up my family and moved halfway across the world (from Texas to Zambia). The answer was, the ACU School of Divinity. The need for sound, gospel-centered, indigenous theological education in sub Saharan Africa was as great as the continent was vast—and it still is! I was convinced that the ACU School of Divinity would help meet that need. It is a strategic work with the potential for both local and global impact for the cause of Christ. I am now back in the USA but my heart is still there to see the school for which I was the Founding Dean train men into solid preachers and church leaders.
- Dr. Voddie Baucham, Jr | Founding Dean of ACU School of Divinity

The church in Africa is growing fast. We must do our best to provide God’s sheep with shepherds who are grounded in the word of God, who are able preachers, and who care for them. The ACU School of Divinity is run by pastor-theologians who are tried and tested in the trenches of ministry. We aim to shape the minds and hearts of our students in the spirit of 2 Timothy 2:2, as we involve and mentor them in the church. Our curriculum is robust, we teach the original languages, and we do not swerve away from the Bible as the final authority. Come and study with us!
- Dr. Conrad Mbewe | Dean of ACU School of Divinity
