Mushroom Farming Techniques

The Bible calls us to be good stewards of God’s creation (Genesis 1:26-28), and mushroom farming aligns with this mandate. The growing demand for sustainable, high-nutritional-value food products has driven interest in mushroom cultivation. Mushrooms are an excellent source of protein, vitamins, and minerals while requiring minimal land, water, and resources for production. This course equips participants to use their skills and talents to care for the earth sustainably while promoting food security and economic opportunities for their families and communities.

This course aims to equip students with a deep understanding of the Bible's transformative power to address the complexities of the human experience. By integrating biblical/systematic theology and practical ministry skills, students will learn to provide compassionate, Christ-centered care to individuals, couples, and families in the church who are navigating various life struggles.

The aim of the course is to equip participants with essential knowledge and hands-on skills to cultivate mushrooms effectively, from preparation to harvest. By focusing on practical and innovative techniques, the course addresses the needs of small-scale farmers, agribusiness entrepreneurs, and individuals interested in exploring profitable and sustainable farming ventures. Whether as small-scale farmers or agribusiness entrepreneurs, participants will be encouraged to see their work as a means of glorifying God, serving others, and contributing to community development.
