Introduction to Biblical Counseling

As believers, we are called to bear one another's burdens and offer compassionate care to those struggling with life's challenges (Galatians 6:1-2, 2 Corinthians 1:3-4). In an increasingly complex and broken world, the need for wise, biblically grounded counseling has never been more pressing.

This course aims to equip students with a deep understanding of the Bible's transformative power to address the complexities of the human experience. By integrating biblical/systematic theology and practical ministry skills, students will learn to provide compassionate, Christ-centered care to individuals, couples, and families in the church who are navigating various life struggles.

Through this course, students will develop a robust biblical counseling framework, learn to critique the modern psychology movement and acquire skills to enable them to confidently and competently minister to others, pointing them to the hope and healing found in Jesus Christ.
